This book, presenting a comprehensive treatment of thermal technology theory, comprises two main parts: the first part on Engineering Thermodynamics, which introduces the basic concepts and laws of engineering thermodynamics, as well as the analysis of basic thermal processes; and the second part on Heat Transfer, which covers the basic laws of heat conduction, convection heat transfer, radiation heat transfer, and solution methods.
Yanhui Feng, professor and doctoral tutor, is currently the vice director of the School of Energy and Environment Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. She obtained her PhD degree from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2000. She served as syndic of Engineering Thermophysics Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Higher Education, secretary-general of the Energy and Thermal Engineering branch of the Chinese Society for Metals, syndic of the Beijing Institute of Thermophysics and Energy Engineering. She is also the editors of Journal of Thermal Science and Technology, Fuel & Chemical Processes and etc. She has won the Special prize for Metallurgical Science and Technology Award in 2017.
