Quality Management in Scientific Research (PDF)

Antonella Lanati previously worked at ST Microelectronics (1984-1988) and later at Magneti Marelli (1989-2003), reaching the role of Quality Manager of the Business Systems Unit (Powertrain Division). Since November 2003 (and as owner of "Valore Qualità" since 2009), she has been working as self-employed professional consultant for Organization and Management Systems, focusing her activity in academia (San Raffaele University), and scientific research organizations (including the San Raffaele Scientific Institute and several departments of the Italian National Research Council).

She is Adjunct Professor at the School of Medicine of the San Raffaele University, teaching, first in the Degree Course in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and currently in the MD Course in Medical Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology. She also organizes courses for postgraduates in research quality and management (PhD course in Molecular Medicine, San Raffaele University; PON BioForIU, PON Biosciences and Health, IVASCOMAR Project/Alisei Cluster, etc.). She is a member of the RQA (Research Quality Association) and of the Study Group "Biological medical products and medicines for advanced therapies" at the AFI (Association of Pharmaceutical Industry). She has authored a book (ed. Springer) and contributed several scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and publications (ed. Springer, Tecniche Nuove) as well as science popularisation articles, in the field of Quality Management and methodologies in scientific research.
