How to behave during interrogation, what to do if you have been planted something forbidden, how to appeal an unjust sentence, what Russian human rights organizations can help and how to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights?
Alexei Fedyarov, head of the legal department of the "Sitting Russia" fund, explains how to act for those who are victims of injustice. The author explains how and why Russian courts pass unjust and unfounded sentences and how security forces fabricate and falsify criminal cases.
The analysis is conducted in three categories: on drugs, economic and politically motivated cases - including the most recent ones related to the events in Moscow in the summer of 2019 (the cases of Golunov, Kotov, Ustinov, etc.).
Together with well-known human rights activists and lawyers, such as A. Levinson, A. Abgadzhava, S. Badamshin, I. Novikov, and others, the author discusses the current state of the legal system and trends in its development. "It is possible and necessary to resist arbitrariness," believes Alexei Fedyarov. - Save yourself, study the subject and do not be afraid - that's what's important.
