Professor Emerita Geraldine Van Bueren QC is one of the original drafters of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international laws protecting children's rights, representing Amnesty International. She has represented the United Nations and the Commonwealth Secretariat in protecting children's rights, as well as advising governments and civil society around the globe.
