Varda Muhlbauer, Ph.D. is Senior Lecturer in the departments of Organizational Behavior and Business Administration at the Netanya Academic College, Israel. She has worked extensively over many years in teaching, researching, and consulting regarding women's issues from a feminist perspective. She shared the APA Division 35's 2013 Florence L. Denmark Award with Joan C. Chrisler, which they won for their contributions to the study of women and aging. Among her co-edited books are Women over 50: Psychological Perspectives (2007, Springer) and Working Families: Parents in the Labor Market in Israel (2010, Peles).

Joan C. Chrisler, Ph.D. is The Class of 1943 Professor of Psychology at Connecticut College, where she teaches courses on the psychology of women and health psychology. She has published extensively on the psychology of women and gender, and is especially known for her work on women's health, menstruation, weight, and body image.  She shared APA Division 35's 2013 Florence L. Denmark Award with Varda Muhlbauer, which they won for their contributions to the study of women and aging. She is editor or co-editor of 10 books, including Women over 50: Psychological Perspectives (2007, Springer) and Reproductive Justice: A Global Concern (2012, Praeger), and is the current editor of the journal Women's Reproductive Health.

Florence L. Denmark, Ph. D is the Robert Scott Pace Distinguished Research Professor of Psychology at Pace University in New York. Denmark has published extensively, and her  most important work has emphasized women's leadership and leadership styles, the interaction of status and gender, ageing women in cross-cultural perspective, and the history of women in psychology.  She is currently the main NGO representative to the United Nations for the International Council of Psychologists and also represents the International Association of Applied Psychology. She is currently the co-chair of the UN NGO Committee on the Family and is the immediate
