Sally Collins is a Consultant Obstetrician subspecialising in Fetal Medicine and abnormally adherent and invasive placenta, and an Associate Professor at St Anne's College Oxford. She graduated in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford, and obtained her Doctorate in Obstetric Ultrasound. She leads the FMU Placenta Clinic for the Thames Valley region, and has co-authored both national and international guidelines for the classification, diagnosis, and management of abnormally invasive placenta (or placenta accrete spectrum). She is Vice Chair of the International Society for PAS (I-PAS) and an elected representative to the European Placenta Group Committee, and Series Editor for the Oxford Specialist Handbooks in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Nicosia Medical School, Professor Emeritus at St George's, University of London, and Visiting Professor at Imperial College, London. Professor Arulkumaran graduated with an honours MBBS degree and a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Ceylon. He then obtained his MD and PhD by research from the National University of Singapore. He is former president of the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (2012-2015), the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2007-2010) and president-elect of the British Medical Association (2012-2014). Sir Sabaratnam's research and clinical interests are in understanding and improving the quality of life for women and new-born babies.

Kevin Hayes trained in Leicester and then did postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North London Deanery. He has been the lead for the acute gynaecology and early pregnancy for 10 years and talks regularly on related subjects nationally as an invited speaker. He also receives tertiary referrals for women with genetic susceptibility to ovarian cancer and women with arterio-venous malformations of the pelvis.
