Baoguo Han received his PhD degree in the field of smart materials and structures from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2005. He is currently working as a professor of civil engineering at Dalian University of Technology, China. His main research interests include cement and concrete materials, nanotechnology, smart materials and structures, structural health monitoring, and traffic detection. He is a member of the editorial board of three international journals, and has published two books, ten book chapters and more than 100 technical papers. He previously spent three years as a visiting research scholar at the University of Minnesota. He also was awarded the New Century Excellent Talents in University prize by the Ministry of Education of China and the first prize in Natural Science by the Ministry of Education of China as the 3rd participant.Bibliographische Angaben
