Dr. Jerold Manuel is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He works in various research areas, e.g. Fermentation, Phytoremediation, Biological Wastewater Treatment, Biosorption, Microbial Fuel Cells, Nanotechnology, Biosurfactants, Biocatalysts, Biofuels, and Adsorption of Heavy Metals etc. He was awarded a Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran fellowship for his postgraduate studies, and an MHRD Fellowship by the Government of India for his doctoral studies. He has published 24 research and review papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals, together with five book chapters. He has edited one book and serves as a reviewer for various journals.

Prof. Arockiasamy Santhiagu completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai in 1998 and his Master of Technology in Biochemical Engineering at Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi in 2001. Subsequently, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemical Engineering at Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU), Varanasi in 2006. He is currently serving as a Professor at the School of Biotechnology, NIT Calicut. He has published over 40 research papers in various peer-reviewed national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has been involved in various research projects for government funding agencies like the DST, DBT, and KSCSTE. His key research areas include Bioprocessing, Bioremediation, and Controlled Drug Delivery Systems.Dr. Velmurugan Sivasubramanian is a Professor and Former Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) in Kozhikode, India.
