Jeff Xiaofei Tang started mobile application development in 2002, first with BREW, JEME, and VoiceXML; and then for iPhone, iPad, and Android. He was Director of Special Interest Group of Mobile Applications for the largest wireless association in Silicon Valley (SVCWireless) from 2002 to 2003. He has developed more than 20 iOS apps, one of which has been ranked as the number one app in the Food & Drink category in Apple’s China Store for most of the time since April 2009. This app has also been featured by Apple and ranked as high as #2 Overall Paid App in 2009. He’s been doing commercial iOS development for 3 years, and was also recognized by Google as one of the Top Android Developers in 2010. He is hugely excited by the Glass platform, cares a lot about user experience, and loves to write easy-to-follow, step-by-step, clear and concise tutorials. As well as writing for Apress, he has co-authored two other books - Early Adopter VoiceXML and Professional XSL - which were both published by Wrox in 2001.
