Constantine Michalopoulos has worked on and written about economic development and poverty eradication for more than half a century. He held several senior positions at the World Bank, served as Chief Economist of USAID and as advisor to governments and international organizations including the IMF, WTO, UNCTAD, the UK DFID and, most recently ELIAMEP, on trade, finance and development.
