In the hit Nickelodeon TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra the person known as the Avatar can control all four elements- Water, Earth, Fire and Air. This book will take the reader on a journey to show them that they also are the Avatar. Instead of manipulating physical elements, they will take the lessons from the elements to transform their life into what they have always dreamed of. Not only that, but they will be given tools to help those around them- for you can not help others before you help yourself.

First you will prepare and assemble a team to aid you on your journey. This is where you will come to terms with your newfound Avatarhood, learn to journal, and identify your animal guide, masters and friends.

You will then learn the element of Earth. This element deals with the root and structure of your life. Your current foundation will be torn down. You will learn how to identify what you truly want in life, known as your North Star, and the pathways you can take to get there. From there you will build a new foundation with ground rules, accountability systems and journaling your progress. Once all of these lessons are mastered, you graduate to the next element.

Next is the Element of Fire, where you will focus on energy. You will learn what aspects of life help feed the body for energy the best. Just like the equation for real fire you will learn how to fill in the blanks with (fuel) + (heat) + (oxygen) = fire. From there you will learn to rely on volition rather than motivation. Once you can harness the energy needed, you will learn how to use it for the best results without harming those around you. Once the lessons are all mastered you are ready for the next element.

Air will be an element that will teach you flow and being in the present. With so much go, go, go there isn't enough stop and notice the details of life. Here you will journal more on your relationship with belongings, relationships and spirituality. To do this you will learn to stop and see the world around you, consciously taking yourself out of it to understand life more clearly. The biggest tool focused on here will be meditation. Once that is accomplished, you will learn how to handle life's fast balls in your day-to-day life. Once you have completed these lessons, you will be ready for the next element.

Water, the last of the four elements, deals with healing. While it may seem like it's time to stop focusing on ourselves, this elements teaches that most of it's lessons are meant for ourselves. If you do not heal, there is no way to successfully guide others to heal. Once you have accepted the path to heal, you will learn the basics of trauma recovery, how to forgive, and mindfulness. Once you have healed within, you will learn how to help heal physical wounds. Once you have completed these lessons with yourself, you will be ready to help spread the knowledge to others.

Once the four elements are mastered, you will learn lessons from those that can't bend- but rather find their own ways around situations. Here you will look at being resourceful, strategic, chi blocking and creativity. These lessons don't form one common goal, but it will help broaden the overall world to you.

Lastly, you will master the Avatar state. This is a spiritual experience where you will connect with yourself to find your ultimate power to help others. You will learn to visualize here. There is also chakra meditation introduced to help the reader face anything they may have missed on their journey. As you go up the spine, hitting each chakra point, you will evaluate where you are and work towards a perfect balance of these human emotions. Once complete, you will feel lighter and more connected to the world around you.

After all of the training talked about in the book it is up to you to direct your new life in any way you want.
