Liz Davis' life has taken a turn for the worst. Since she buried her parents, a series of events have turned her life into a nightmare. First, her car's brakes fail in the middle of a busy intersection, a week later an intruder turns off her power and attacks her in the kitchen of her home. She's convinced, Maggie, her next-door neighbor's surprise visit saved her life.
The Bangor police think the incidents are random. As much as Liz wants to convince herself they're right, she has a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something isn't right.

Of course the little things that have begun happening in Fredericton are just accidents. No one could have possibly found her yet Could they?
The worst part is, the way things are happening it looks like she's hurting herself. Will anyone believe the truth? Will Jake?
