This collection of poetry depicts the strength it takes to have faith that, no matter who you are, you are worthy of love and forgiveness exactly as you are. Ungodly seeks to heal wounds that this world leaves in us, and seeks to reveal the glimmering spots in our humanity.

Maggie Bowyer (they/them/theirs) is a poet, cat parent, and the author of The Whole Story (2020) and When I Bleed: Poems about Endometriosis (2021). They have been featured in Bourgeon Magazine, Capsule Stories, Detour Ahead, Written Tales, Scribe, and more. They got their start in spoken word, they were a quarter finalist at Brave New Voices 2016, and they were a Marilyn Miller Poet Laureate.
