Sarah Kate Smigiel (she/her and they/them) is a non-binary artist/educator/content creator located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where she resides with her fianceé, Hannah, and their three dogs. Sarah Kate has trained and worked internationally on, and behind, professional dance stages since graduating with a degree in Modern Dance and Education in 2017 from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. They has since debuted their first original musical, as well as two other full length kinesthetic, auditory, and visual dance collaborations. Sarah Kate also educates on gender variance and inclusivity in the dance community as well as the world at large. Sarah Kate is currently training to be a full-spectrum doula, focusing specifically on working with queer families, so she can assist them with bringing life into this world in a safe and comfortable way. Since writing "They Love, We Love" at the age of 17, she has authored three other full-length works geared toward adult readers.
