Autoren-Porträt von James Paul Colligan
Father James P. Colliganhas been a Catholic priest for sixty years. While serving as a
priest in Japan, Colligan studied the Japanese language and
can read, write, and speak Japanese. He earned a master's
in journalism in 1968 from Syracuse University and returned to
Japan as a journalist. For a decade he contributed a regular
column to the Japan Christian Quarterly and was coeditor of
their Protestant publication, Christianity in Japan. Colligan is a
member of the Press Association, the Overseas Press Club, and
the Correspondents Club of Japan, which awarded him a Life
Membership. Colligan is now residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
