Blair became a member of the US Special Forces and worked with the UN. His friend Sir Charles Spencer had taken to a life of crime. He used his construction company and position in society as a front to build a criminal empire and multibillion dollar fortune.
The struggle between these two will take them from England to Africa, the Middle East, and the USA. Spencer decided the quickest way to make money was to plunder third-world countries of their mineral wealth. It is Blair who brings him to stand before the International Court of Justice in the Hague to answer for those crimes.
The outcome will be tragic for one of them.

I am an Irish-born author who was educated at a private boarding school in England. I currently reside in Victoria, Australia. In retirement and to keep me occupied, I undertook the task of president and tutor of the University of the Third Age, Geelong, Victoria, to help reestablish the organization. I dedicated myself completely to writing. To enhance the stories and scenarios in my books, I have used my previous employment that took me to several countries and my previous military service to create my main character, Paul Blair, a fictional character based on my own life experiences. Paul Blair stars in the Sterling Connection, the Rand Connection, the Rubble Connection, the DC Connection, and New Directions. All of which are centered on Paul Blair and his team of dedicated followers. I have currently finished my sixth book titled, Blood Under the Maple Leaf, in which I have created a new character, DCS Benson RCMP, who goes on to solve crimes involving serials killers, and other major cold cases. This will be followed by a seventh book entitled Family Affairs That Kill.
