At birthday parties he would tell the kids stories about their favorite farm animal. Back at the ranch the grandkids loved to gather around him as they roasted marshmallows over a small campfire and listen to stories about the ranch and it's animals.
As children ate yummy birthday cake or gooey roasted marshmallows The Ol Rancher would spin his yarns and Critter Tales were born.
This Critter Tale, like all his books, is tailor-fit for young minds to digest. A simple story filled with familiar themes and things of childhood. It also has several life lessons that kids will latch on to intuitively.
