For each of the one hundred cantos, Mosley has provided a ten-line poem written in terza rima, the rhyme scheme of Dante's epic. These poems are intended both to stand on their own and serve as a reflection on the Divine Comedy. Readers unfamiliar with the source text will be inspired to pick it up. Longtime readers of Dante's journey through the afterlife will find familiar themes presented in a new way.
