Vincenzo Atella is Professor of Economics at the University of Rome "Tor Vergatä where he teaches courses in Macroeconomics and Applied Health Economics at graduate and post graduate level. He is also adjunct associate of the Center for Health Policy at Stanford University where he has been visiting professor several times, Scientific Director of the Farmafactoring Foundation, and past President of the Italian Health Economic Association (AIES). He has coordinated several European projects and received financial support by the European Science Foundation. His research activity focuses on applied economics with special emphasis in the health care sector. The results of his research activity have been published on several international refereed journals as well books.
