Excerpt: I was carried through into a room lit dimly by a single blue lux crystal suspended from the ceiling. I could make out vague, sinister shapes in the darkness - a gibbet hung in one corner, and various 'implements' hung along the walls. In the center was a large X-shaped rack, and I was forced to spread my arms and legs as they strapped me in. Already I felt the hot tears begin to wet my cheeks, and I grew even more ashamed. I should have fought, I should have done something, but now Helia and I were in the belly of the beast with no way out.

The guards left me to my pitiful sobs, and I hung there for some time before I heard the door open behind me. The strap holding my head in place kept me from turning my head, and I stared straight ahead as the cardinal entered my view.

"Poor child, don't cry." He stepped forward and wiped the tears from my cheeks with a gloved hand. "You are too rare a creature to spoil your beauty with tears…" My heart hammered in my chest as his hand wandered from my cheek to my bare breast, cupping it gently. "Tell me, were you born like this?"
When I didn't respond he took my nipple between his fingers and twisted sharply, and I cried out in pain. "I'll ask you again. Were you born like this? Was it magic? A demon?" He continued to twist but I only answered in whimpers and moans.

"Well I was going to save this for later, but if you're going to be difficult…" From the wall he pulled a wicked looking riding crop and advanced on me. "You will tell me everything, like it or not. And then the real fun can begin." Rearing his arm back he struck me across the breast and I screamed in agony. "Look me in the eyes." My eyelids opened with no regard for my wishes and I did as he said - and felt the grip of magic taking hold of my mind. Striking me again, this time across my shrunken member. "How did you come to be this way?" He asked, and I answered unwillingly.
"A sorceress! She did this to me!"

Babbling through snotty tears and screams, I told him everything. My name, my mission, all of it. With each stroke of the crop I betrayed another secret until I had nothing left to give up… save for one thing. When his questions turned to Helia something bitter and angry rose in me that I didn't know I had, and I defied the spell just long enough to lie. Confident in his control, he accepted it without question.
He seemed to take great amusement in the fact that I was a knight - or had been, at least. "To believe that someone so small, so delicate could have once been one of ours… pitiful, really. But I have a much more appropriate use for you, now…"

He rained more blows upon my naked body, intoning commands now rather than questions. "You will serve me! You will obey me! You are mine!" he said in his strong, loud voice. It echoed off the stone walls endlessly, reverberating into my mind.
