Shujie Yao is Professor of Economics and Chinese Sustainable Development; Head of the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies; and Coordinator of the China and World Economy Programme at the Leverhulme Centre for Globalization and Economic Policy at the University of Nottingham, UK.
