He served as a Pastor, Diocesan Administrator, and Seminary professor for over 40 years, was Elected to the Board of Education for 9 years and served as its president, he also served as chair of the Ethics Board and Housing Authority.
His diverse experiences include serving in the US Army as a Microwave Sight Chief in South Korea. Dr. Chubenko is also a licensed private pilot and a certified hypnotist, running various businesses before dedicating his life to serve as a parish priest. Dr. Chubenko has been a lecturer on spirituality, mysticism, religion, and Masonry for five decades.
Married for over 56 years and helping raise four sons, he also served as a chaplain for fire and police departments in New Jersey and was honored as Man of the Year in Carteret, NJ. At 74, Chubenko pursued and was licensed as a funeral director in Florida, where he currently resides, caring for his wife with Alzheimer's until her untimely death in September of 2023.
