You can be many different versions of yourself, whilst always remaining authentic. That's the beauty of personal growth. You are a different person under pressure when you are faced with an obstacle. The challenges we face in life are opportunities. These opportunities highlight who we truly are. They're illuminating if you're paying attention.

When you go through difficult times, it can be hard to come out unscathed on the other side. However, it's important that you recognize those difficulties for what they are. Whatever it is, it's a chance for you to become the best version of yourself. No one is meant to stay living as a single version of themselves. As humans, we have to progress, we must experience growth and evolution. It's as natural as our need to seek sustenance to live. More importantly, why should you have to come out of difficult times unscathed? You wouldn't be human if it didn't influence you in some way. The key is to learn a lesson and use those lessons to improve as a person.
How can you walk through these difficult times and not get scared? Not feel stuck or get depressed about a difficult life?
Life is difficult, it can be brutal for some people. However, in every moment you can choose your mindset. You can choose compassion, you can choose authenticity, you can choose positivity.
Cultivating the right mindset is key to personal growth. This allows you to get through difficult times and see adversity as an opportunity. That doesn't mean you won't experience those emotions initially. You are human, after all, it's how you manage those emotions and respond to difficulty that matters.
