Author Aaron Jamieson arrived on the island of Hokkaido over a decade ago and immediately felt a connection to the island and its people, its wild seasons and uncharted frontiers. He has traveled the entire island extensively as a photographer and travel journalist and has published numerous articles and photographs covering all aspects of Hokkaido life. Jamieson balances that with running a photography school and working as a professional photographer and videographer for local and international clients. He currently resides in Hokkaido, Japan.
