Patrik O'Brajen, ottalkivayas' ot knig znamenitoj sagi, napisal mnogotomnuyu epopeyu o kapitane Obri. Dazhe Garri Garrison sparodiroval po dobromu obraz geroya Forestera v odnom iz svoih rasskazov («Kapitan Gonario Harpplejer»).
