S. Sadasivam is Director of the Center for Plant Molecular Biology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. The author or coauthor of numerous professional publications, he is an honorary fellow of the Indian Agricultural Biochemists and the recipient of the Rao Bahadur Dadasaheb Semberkar Award (1997). He received the Ph.D. degree (1968) in biochemistry from the University of Madras, India, and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Florida and the University of California, Riverside. B. Thayumanavan is Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, Center for Plant Molecular Biology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. The author or coauthor of numerous professional publications, he is an honorary fellow of the Indian Society of Agricultural Biochemists. He received the M.Sc. degree (1970) in biochemistry from the University of Madras, India, and the Ph.D. degree (1975) in chemistry from the University of Poona, India.Bibliographische Angaben
