Autoren-Porträt von Dilber Uzun Ozsahin, Ilker Ozsahin
Dr. Dilber Uzun Ozsahin is an Associate Professor of College of Health Science, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Department at University of Sharjah since 2021. She graduated from the Department Physics of Çukurova University in 2006. She worked at CERN, Geneva during 2008-2010 for her master's thesis. She completed her PhD studies on Medical Imaging for Breast Cancer at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain in 2014. Between 2015-2016, she worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School as a post-doctoral researcher. She has been working at Near East University as an Assoc. Prof. in Biomedical Engineering Department and the DESAM Institute between 2016-2021. She and her group are the first group applied Operational research tools in order to solve Biomedical and Medical problems.She is Director of the Operational Research Center in Healthcare, Near East University since 2020. And she is the board member of the DESAM Institute, Near East University since 2018.
