Porter skillfully weaves his personal history, philosophy, and the scriptures to tell of his life and offer a way out for suffering men. Any man who reads this book cannot honestly ask the questions that Porter puts to the reader without deeply examining his psyche and soul.

If Porter made one thing clear, it is that the lessons in the book are a map toward wisdom, and wisdom is only possible through Christ. I believe it is the highest truth in the book.
