By many accounts, Tim Couch played superior ball to rival Peyton Manning from the University of Tennessee as quarterback for University of Kentucky Wildcats. Thus, my playing varsity basketball (although not as popular as football) for the Evarts Wildcats at the local high school had its advantages.
