Emir Kovacevic works as a lawyer in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he has been running his law office since 1999. As a legal representative of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he actively participated in the work of the Interreligious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1999 to 2019. Since 2016, he has been a member of the OSCE/ODIHR Panel of Experts on Freedom of Religion or Belief.
