Groundbreaking work that addresses cultural challenges and potential solutions to making disciples in Gen Z.
Over the last few years, the corpus of literature on Generation Z has burgeoned. However, there is precious little in the current market that addresses the cultural challenges and potential solutions to making disciples in this generation. Know. Be. Live.®, an edited volume offers a holistic 360 approach. It combines content on faith and culture with a devotional tone to reach a broad audience of intellectually engaged parents of teenagers, college students, campus ministers, and pastors.
Addressing the challenges of discipleship and spiritual formation with emerging generations, Know. Be. Live.®, approaches this subject matter from a comprehensive biblical "360" perspective that ties together the intellectual (Know), character (Be), and calling (Live) elements of discipleship.
This ground breaking book is for a wide range of audiences, including:
• Parents of teenagers and college students
• Campus ministry
• Faculty members in Christian colleges and universities
• General devotional/Spiritual Formation
• Youth ministry, including Christian college courses for youth ministry majors
• Homeschool (secondary education)
• Charitable foundations (e.g., National Christian Foundation) who stay apprised of cultural trends that affect philanthropic efforts
• Christian business owners and managers who are keeping apprised of the literature and conferences, and networks that have arisen out of the business as ministry movement (e.g., C12)
Contributors: Philip Alsup, Bruce Ashford, Hunter Baker, Ed and Dana Bort, Christopher Brooks, Drew Dyck, Gene Fant, Nathan Finn, Sean McDowell, J.P. Moreland, Jonathan Morrow, Jacob Shatzer, John Stonestreet, Kyle Strobel, James Emery White, and John W. White III.
