I thought to connect and inaugurate a new literary path where writers from both the states will start a new journey of cultural pilgrimage .
The cult of Maha Kali and Lord Jagannath spiritually evoke the spirit of religious togetherness . The mysterious manifestation of deity power attracted people of both the states to visit the auspicious temples from ancient times.
I sincerely hope the selected short stories will be engaging read .

Jugalbandi -Hooghly to Mahanadi,which holds the emotional ties and reflects people to people relationship.
He has authored several research and review articles published in reputed national and international journals; as well as books and book chapters published by premier international academic publishers.
He has written, edited and co-edited over 25 books till date. He has participated in a number of national and international seminars and conferences presenting papers and posters and is an active member of a number of organizations in Canada and India.
He has received several awards such as Graduate Citizenship Award (2009), Alberta Graduate Student Award (2009), CSA Best Article Award (2010), SAEA Volunteer Award (2011), AFC Celebrate Agriculture in Alberta Photo Award (2012), ASPB Peggy Thompson Publication Award (2014) and Dr. Gopal Chandra Bhattacharya Memorial Award (2020). Saikat enjoys travelling, soccer, cricket, writing and photography during his leisure.
