El libro discute qué es el mindfulness y sus efectos terapéuticos, y explora la historia y el desarrollo del concepto de la inteligencia emocional. Procede a explicar cómo el integrar ambos conceptos le permite al lector desarrollar una inteligencia emocional plena, en la cual un enfoque intencional sobre los contenidos emocionales puede llevar a una mejor comprensión y regulación de las emociones.

Natalia Ramos Díaz es piscóloga y especialista en desarrollo personal y emocional.Profesora de psicología en la Universidad de Málaga, está dedicada en los últimos años, junto a su grupo de investigación, al estudio y aplicación de herramientas recientemente incorporadas al mundo académico, como la atención plena y su aplicación en el desarrollo emocional.
Colabora con numerosas revistas científicas, nacionales e internacionales.
