Autoren-Porträt
Katsuya Yamori obtained his PhD in Social Psychology from Osaka University, Japan. He worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Research, Nara University for 12 years (1992-2003) before serving at the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University. Currently he is working as a Professor at the DPRI, Kyoto University. He is also a Senior Researcher at the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institute, Kobe, and a Visiting Professor at Shizuoka University, Kwansei Gakuin University, Hyogo Prefectural University, and Kobe Gakuin University. His fields of interest include disaster risk communication, disaster reduction education, and disaster information studies. He is also involved in several disaster management committees at the national and local level in Japan.Bibliographische Angaben
