In the early days of the pandemic, I knew that something was seriously wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I kept thinking, "I've seen this before" and, "I know this." Once I realized that, the bulk of my anxiety vanished because, in a way, I knew what was going on and I was no longer afraid of it. I still didn't know where we were going, but I had one piece, and that comforted me.

I was stunned to find out my article had been read more than 3,000 times in 16 hours. My editor was happy because my article increased the readership of the magazine and he asked me to write more.
