Monika Baitsch lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Söhnen an der Bergstrasse.Im Sommer 2011 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes Kinderbuch "Hilfmir - mein kleiner Freund und seine Mutmacher-Geschichten", welches auf grosses Interesse gestossen ist und schnell weitere Bücher von und mit dem kleinen Hilfmir folgten. Das "Hilfmir-Konzept" entstand 1999, als ihr älterer Sohn eingeschult wurde. In seiner Schultüte befanden sich zur Stärkung seines Selbstvertrauens, ein kleines Stofftierchen und ein Brief, die der Auslöser waren und zu erstaunlich positiven Ergebnissen geführt haben. Seitdem zieht sich "Hilfmir", wie ein roter Faden, durch ihr Leben und vor allem das Leben ihrer Kinder. Mit dem Buch "Hilfmir - mein kleiner Freund und seine Mutmacher-Geschichten" hat sie ein jahrelang selbst erprobtes Konzept, welches immer wieder überraschende Wirkungen hervorgerufen hat, zu Papier gebracht.
Inzwischen widmet sie sich auch anderen Themen und so entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit einem norddeutschen Musikverlag "ROB74 ... und die Macht der Freundschaft" - ein Musikabenteuer über Träume und Ziele für Kinder ab dem Vorschulalter und "MICHA - Ist Diabetes eigentlich anstecken?" - eine Geschichte für betroffene Kinder, Angehörige und Interessierte, die die Hintergründe und Fachbegriffe von Diabetes mellitus Typ I auf einfache Weise erklärt.
Im Juni 2014 ist nun ihr erster Roman "Verlieb dich mal wieder ... oder: Sex ist auch eine Lösung!" erschienen. Es ist die Geschichte von Marit, eine Frau Anfang 40, die sich im Alltagsbrei selbst verloren hat, was sich natürlich auch auf ihre Ehe mit Tom auswirkt. Aber, sie zieht die Reissleine! Ein Buch für alle Traumfrauen und die, die vergessen haben, dass sie Traumfrauen sind!
"Lucy und die Zeitmaschine" ist nun das neue Kinderbuch aus ihrer Feder.
