In April of 1974, in a hotel in Rochester New York, author Peter Duncan Whitford had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and experienced an unforgettable peace.
In Hi, I'd Like to Give You a Free Gift, he narrates the story of that personal encounter with Jesus, the subsequent desire within himself to share Jesus with others, and how that desire came to be a reality. Through journal entries, Whitford documents the reactions he received when he offered strangers the Gospel of John.
Hi, I'd Like to Give You a Free Gift chronicles Whitford's journey to the creation of what he calls his Bus Stop Ministry, a mission to help others find salvation and everlasting life, and it shares the many lessons he learned throughout his experience.
