Autoren-Porträt von Mufid I. Hilal
Mufid Hilal (born 1940 in Syria) completed his high school in 1958 and obtained his PhD in technology from Moscow Power Institute in 1972. Since then he has held a number of academic positions at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Damascus University, Syria until his retirement in December 2012. His latest published book is Technical Thermodynamics, which was published in 2006.
