Una adaptación de la obra de teatro para niños internacionalmente conocida de Esko-Pekka Tiitinen, el cuento sobre animales en peligro de extinción de todas partes del mundo que se unen para salvar el planeta les inculca a los niños la importancia de ser respetuosos hacia el medio ambiente. Un búho anciano y una ballena acompañan a una paloma en el largo viaje hasta su hogar en África, pero cuando llegan descubren que un desierto ha invadido lo que antes era un frondoso bosque. Con la cooperación de otros animales, de un ser humano, del sol, del agua y de un viento favorable, pueden sembrar las semillas de la vida nuevamente. Esta fábula bellamente ilustrada trata sobre varios temas, incluyendo la solidaridad, el respeto hacia la naturaleza, el enfrentar los obstáculos ayudándose los unos a los otros y los beneficios del trabajo en equipo.

Esko-Pekka Tiitinen is an award-winning Finnish author and artist. He has written more than 20 books in addition to opera librettos, television scripts, and plays for theater and radio. His children's play "Gotas de vida" has been performed in more than 80 countries and supports the campaign of ENO (Environment Online), a global virtual school and network for sustainable development. Nikolai Tiitinen is an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator. His illustrations for "Gotas de vida" won third place at the Mikkeli Illustration Triennial.
