It blends science fiction with achingly human, character-driven stories proven by recent headlines to be terrifyingly plausible - making this book a compelling choice for those who appreciate both Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and Arthur C. Clarke's The Hammer of God.
A self-described auto-didact and general malcontent, Christine can be found outside in the temperate months, laying brick walkways, and planting seeds in a hedonistic and random fashion (much to the dismay of one grass-loving neighbor). In the winter you will find her inside, shooting pool, writing, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
