It provides her story, but it also provides strategies and tools that others can use as they navigate their journey or help others to do so. There are no quick fixes to overcoming depression. It requires a lot of prayer and hard work. But, if you are up for the task and you have supportive people around you, it can be achieved. With this book, Lichelle hopes to continue the conversation of what depression really looks like and how it affects individuals. She hopes to help remove the stigma attached, especially in the church and she hopes to encourage greater work to support others; for it is direly needed. She cannot wait to become a part of this great work. She may have experienced some devastating things, but she believes that it is all working together for her good and for such a time as this.
