I have compiled this collection of poems for all of those people out there who are in emotional turmoil that pushes them to the edge. I want you to know that you are not alone in how you feel. I want you to know that it is okay to have these types of thoughts and feelings. It doesn't make you crazy. It doesn't make you bad. It makes you a survivor, because it means that you are still pushing on, despite the pain. I admit that these poems are mostly on the darker side of the emotional scale. I just thought that it could still help someone. Maybe it can help you.

arrie Lynn B. was born in the Midwest in July of 1992. Having struggled with severe mental illness since age twelve, she knows how powerful depression and related disorders can be. After going through multiple, desperate attempts to escape the pain, up to and including seeking death, she eventually turned to poetry as a way of coping with her pain. Now she writes to try her best to help others feel less alone in the darkness.
