This includes stability and impulse response, necessary and sufficient conditions for stability of control systems. It also covers stability criteria for stability and their application to linear feedback systems. Root-Locus technique is comprehensively covered in this chapter. Sixth chapter deals with Frequency Domain Techniques. The coverage includes Nyquist Stability Criterion, Polar and Bode Plots, Frequency domain specifications and characteristic of a Second Order Control Systems. It also covers Frequency response of General Control Systems. Modern Control Theory is comprehensively covered in seventh chapter. While dealing with the topics, care has been taken to highlight important concepts with illustrations and examples maintaining the language as simple as possible. Large number of examples have been worked out for a better understanding of the subject.. Practice exercise problems are provided at the end of each chapter.
