Evelyn's POV

Will has been shot, and I am not ready to leave his side until he recovers. The nurses have tried their best, but I am resolute. Sitting there, watching him unconscious does things to my mind. I should have understood his fear of bringing a child into this world. It was a chaotic world. When he comes to, I am more than relieved, and even happier when he suggests that we make a baby, and hide away from all the chaos of the Hornets. We have found a place to stay safe, but Adrian shows up unexpectedly one day, and I feel like we have made the wrong choice.

Will's POV

All the while I was in a coma, my mind would not rest. I wanted to know if Evelyn was safe, and I also regretted that I did not have my bloodline out there yet. When I wake up, I push aside all my fears and convince Evelyn that we should start a family. She is excited, and we all go to a safe place. Things are going fine until Adrian shows up, again.
