Among this group, the novel "Fateh Al -Andalus or Tariq bin Ziyad" emerges, where it sheds light on the period of Islamic rule in Andalusia. The epic to open Andalusia by the hero leader Tariq bin Ziyad, and the fate of the king of the Goths Roderick. Despite the importance of Tariq bin Ziyad as a historical leader, the novel chooses the character of Florenda, the daughter of Count Julian, the ruler of Ceuta, to be a pivotal hero that constitutes an important turning point in the narration.
