Giovanni Luigi De Maria is a Consultant Cardiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. After training at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, he worked at the Agostino Gemelli Hospital before moving to the John Radcliffe Hospital in 2013. In 2017 he won a Young Investigator Award at the annual meeting of the British Society of Cardiovascular Interventions (BCIS), and has published over 70 peer reviewed papers. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the
European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, amongst others.

Adrian Banning is consultant cardiologist at the John Radcliffe University Hospital, Oxford, and currently holds the post of President of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS).
