A friends to lovers, second chances, romantic comedy short story…
BLUE LADY is the Prequel to The Angelica Mason Series (There are three books in this series with a new book scheduled for release in 2022). The books revolve around a common theme-the search for love and life purpose.
Which is more important or are they interrelated?
No longer satisfied with her high-power job in Washington DC, Angelica Mason returns home to Smoothville, Georgia looking for love. Specifically, the love of her life, the high school sweetheart she ditched when she went away to college.
Angelica is surprised when she discovers she loves her new position as Smoothville Georgia City Manager. She's not a bit surprised, however, when she crosses paths with Shawn Mallory.
But the old Shawnee has a new look. A new life. A new attitude. And that new life does not include love. And certainly not Angelica Mason.
Shawn, now director of a newly established local not-for-profit, has been waiting for the big moment. He begrudged the fact that he and Angelica never officially closed out the past-their past…
Shawn is more than ready for their official face off.
The Angelica Mason Series:

*****And What Do Readers Say?
"What a captivating short story! Angelica Mason is a successful business woman who is both well-educated and ambitious. Her high school sweetheart Shaw Mallory is equally educated and successful. How did she let him slip through her fingers and what can she do to get him back? He has the makings of a desirable husband and Angelica is about to engage in her "Blue Lady" tactics to win him over. Little does she know that Shawn is playing a few games of his own..."
Refusing to succumb to the heavy disappointment of not advancing her career in a city with such promise, Stephany struggled to understand purpose behind sudden and unexpected life changes. When her oldest son asked, 'why don't you just write a book? Do what you love to do?', after a few weeks of thought, she decided to give it a shot.
She loved to write and realized that one of the reasons she succeeded as a proposal writer was because of her ability to 'create programs and program designs' ---so effectively that they were loved by her business clients and convincingly presented to and funded by grant sources!
From inception to publication, Stephany worked for four years on her first novel, The Master's Plan, A Novel About Purpose. When thinking about how much she continually enjoys reading her debut novel, she writes, "I still laugh at all my favorite chapters and have yet to decide who is my favorite or least liked character. It's amazing! I was able to spin a tail around two frameworks that have had a major influence on my life: church and government politics. In writing The Master Plan, I was reminded of what a blessed life I have had and that despite what appeared to be very dismal circumstances, I was able to use my creativity and love of writing in a different way. Truly, I can see and believe, it was all part of a master plan."
