Melissa Corea earned a bachelor of science in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management from Pennsylvania State University, where she was a teaching assistant and worked under a number of chefs and professors. She has worked throughout the country as an assistant general manager and general manager, running and opening several full-service hotels and restaurants. She is the former owner of Temperance House Inn outside of Philadelphia. She is currently the principal owner of COREA.Consulting 21, LLC where she consults for restaurants, hotels, and other small businesses.
