He has authored 2 books, 11 book chapters, and 2 edited books, and was editor of the proceedings for many international conferences and granted patents. He has guided many scholars of PhD, MTech, and undergraduates. His area of research is additive manufacturing. He has been granted many funded projects and completed several industrial consultancies. He is also an executive member of many professional societies. He is a technical expert member of many government bodies and universities.

Premanand S. Chauhan works as a director at Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, Indore. He has 7 years of industry experience and 20 years of teaching experience.
