David Frey ( San Rafael, California) has been working in thefields of architecture and construction for more than 20 years andteaching AutoCAD to AEC design professionals, engineers, students,and teachers for 14 years. He is the author of seven previousbest-selling editions of AutoCAD: No Experience Required. Davidholds a Master's degree in architecture from the Universityof California, Berkeley.Jon McFarland (Cleveland) manages a design department ata property development company, where he uses AutoCAD and VIZ tocreate visualizations of proposed facility construction andexpansions. He has also taught AutoCAD, VIZ, and 3ds Max courses atthe university level.
